Costa Rica is a small country in Central America, bordered by Nicaragua to the north, Panama to the south, the Pacific Ocean to the west, and the Caribbean Sea to the east. Costa Rica has no standing army, emphasizing peace and diplomacy in its foreign policy. Its political system is stable, and it has a well-developed healthcare and education system. The official language is Spanish, and the currency is the Costa Rican colón (CRC). The country enjoys a tropical climate, with both dry and rainy seasons depending on the region. It’s also a hotspot for adventure travel, offering activities like zip-lining, surfing, hiking, and wildlife watching.
